Duluth American Indian Teacher Training Program
This program prepares American Indian teachers by providing funds for tuition, fees, books and living expenses to selected individuals who enroll in a special teacher training and mentoring program in the College of Education and Human Services Professions at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
The funding for this program is in two parts: 1) scholarship funds for tuition, books, and UMD fees; and 2) a stipend for living expenses. This program includes group meetings and activities to promote peer support for all participants.
To enroll in this program:
- Enroll in the College of Education and Human Services at UMD
- Fill out a current FASFA
- Fill out the Teacher Training Program Application and submit to: UMD's American Indian Learning Resourse Center. 315 KPlz, 1208 Kirby Drive, Duluth MN 55812
