KEY Zone School Year Programming:

The program is open to students attending a Duluth Public Elementary school during the day.

Hours: 
2:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (when school is in session) and on non-school days at select sites from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with an additional $39 daily rate per child.

Rates:

A $35.00 per child registration fee is applied annually. Fees are due with completed registration materials and are non-refundable. There are two contracts that families can sign up for.

5 days/week

$176.00/month/child

Contract Option B

Flex 

12 sessions/month

$126.00/month/child

Payment info: Invoices are distributed by the Duluth Community Education offices on the 15th of the prior month with payment due the 1st of each month. Outstanding balances are subject to late fees and will impact eligibility to participate in the program. Partial scholarships are available to families who qualify. KEY Zone Summer Program 

  • Open to any students in the Duluth Area who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. 
  • Activities include group games, gym time, service learning, field trips, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and choice time. 
  • K.E.Y Zone Outdoors will be at each site once per week, where they will teach about shelter building, geocaching, plants and animals, and more!
  • Space is limited so please register early

Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

20 DAY MINIMUM ENROLLMENT
Rates: *$39 daily rate (includes field trip costs) plus a $35 registration fee per child for families who did not participate in the school year program
