NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

Welcome to Middle School

To all new incoming students, parents and families, we are so excited to have you join our OEMS family in the Fall. Please take some time to watch our New Student Welcome video. We look forward to meeting you!!

Here is some information from the Health Office for all new incoming students as well.

Hello!

Can you believe it's the middle of October already?  We have so enjoyed getting to connect with some of you virtually already this year.  We wanted to introduce ourselves as your School Counselors and tell you a little about what we do.  Check out our video (click on CC for closed captioning) to learn what a School Counselor does and how you can connect with us.

We will be sharing our SEL lessons virtually this year!  Watch your email for video lessons from your School Counselors.  We are also continuing to offer individual support through Google Meet.  You can contact your school counselor by email or phone to set up a Google Meet session.

We also have a UMD intern this year!  Her name is Jen North and you can "meet" her on this video!  Jen has experience with Distance Learning and would love to connect with you if you are struggling with Canvas, in particular.  Email your counselor to connect with Jen.
