Jodi Stacken has been named the next assistant principal of Ordean East Middle School, pending School Board approval.
“I am excited that Jodi Stacken will be joining the team of Ordean East,” Interim Ordean East Middle School Principal Sue Lehna said. “She is a compassionate leader who treats students and staff with great kindness and care. Ordean East is lucky to have her on staff as assistant principal.”
Stacken has been serving this year as an MTSS (multi-tiered system of supports) coordinator. Before she was Dean of Students at Lester Park Elementary School.
“Jodi Stacken rose above the rest of the candidates and she will be a great addition to Ordean East Middle School as well as a wonderful resource and support for students and families,” Superintendent John Magas said.
Stacken replaces Rachel Jackson, who was hired at Myers-Wilkins Elementary principal earlier this month.
“I am very excited to have this leadership opportunity Ordean East Middle School. I have been an educator in the district and community for the last 11 years and I am thrilled to continue on with the students and families,” Stacken said.
