Welcome New Students!!

Please call the office at 218-336-8865 or stop in (between the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM).  We can mail out copies of the required paperwork or give them directly to you.  Many people come, get the paperwork, fill it out, and hand it in all in one visit. Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency (i.e., property tax statement, lease agreement).


Incoming Kindergarten students also need...

Early Childhood Screening - MN law requires all students to go through the free Early Childhood Screening prior to entering Kindergarten.  You may call our ECS office at 218-336-8816 or email ecscreening@isd709.org to set up an appointment.  

Immunization Records - MN State Statute 121A.15 requires that all children entering a Minnesota school for the first time be completely immunized or provide legal exemption of the required immunization.  Parents/guardians must provide a clinical printout of all immunization dates.  Additional details available from the MN Department of Health.
