Birth to Age 5

Welcome!  The early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are an important time of rapid growth. A variety of helpful programs for parents and their children are available.

Parent Aware Rated - Four Stars of Excellence: We're one of the first preschool programs in the state to earn a four-star Parent Aware rating - the highest possible!  This system helps families find programs focused on high quality early learning and kindergarten readiness.

Duluth Preschool: Duluth Public Schools offer several options in collaboration with School Readiness, Head Start, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten, Early Childhood Scholarships and Early Childhood Special Education funding sources. The 2019-2020 Duluth Preschool Application will be available February 1st, 2019.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE): Duluth Public Schools offer classes for parents and children ages birth through 4 years old.  
 
Still plenty of time to register!  Openings available in several of our daytime classes.
