  • FY27 Budget Updates

As part of our annual budget review, the district is adjusting restricted funds—specifically state and federal allocations for targeted programming—to align with shifting funding levels.

Summary of Adjustments

Federal Funding: We are facing a 12.69% reduction in Title I, II, III, and IV funds (approximately $374,927 loss) and a 75.5% reduction in Title VI American Indian Education funding (approximately $151,000 loss).

Achievement and Integration Budget: To achieve program self-sufficiency, a three-year reduction plan is in place, with supplements decreasing by $200,000 in FY27 and $100,000 in both 2028 and 2029.

Staffing Impact

Because these restricted funds primarily support personnel, these reductions will unfortunately lead to staff displacements. The district is committed to supporting all affected employees with care and respect throughout this transition.

A detailed breakdown of these adjustments and the resulting reallocations is available at the link below.
