Kirsi will attend a Champions of Change event to highlight and discuss STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) in America. Among several topics, she plans to discuss STEM education for woman and minorities and offering more project-based education in schools.  Kirsi is at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, working on electrical components for a deep space habitat and designing her first circuit board to be used on the station.
