Making Up Snow/Cold Weather Days

The Duluth School Board approved adding the following instructional time to make up cold/snow cancellations:

  • As of Monday March 24 the school day is extended by 12 minutes (adds the equivalent of 1.6 days of instructional time)
  • Students attend school Friday May 16 (formerly a Staff Development day with no school for students).
  • Students attend school Friday June 6 (June 5 was formerly the last day of school).

Chester Creek, Merritt Creek and Woodland Hills programs are not impacted by the 12 minute extension to the school day.
