KEYZone School Age Care


K.E.Y. Zone Program

KEY stands for Knowledge, Enrichment, and Youth Development, and KEY Zone provides an academic and enrichment Out-Of-School Time Program offered year-round for students in Grades K-5. The program is offered collaboratively through the Duluth Area Family YMCA, ISD 709 Community Education, and EXCEL Targeted Services at the following sites:

Hours

Before School: 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. *offered at limited sites
After School: 2:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

K.E.Y. Zone School Year Registration

KEY stands for Knowledge, Enrichment and Youth development. KEY Zone (formerly Kids Connection and Schools Out) is a before and after school program offered at all Duluth Elementary Schools through a partnership of ISD709 Community Education, Targeted Services and the Duluth YMCA.

Registration for the 2014-2015  year  is open for families who are currently registered in the program.

 Program Goals:

  • Foster Academic and Enrichment Learning
  • High Quality Care
  • Develop Life Skills
  • Promote School-Community Connectedness
  • Provide Opportunities for Fun and Adventure

Program offered at select sites during ISD 709 Break Weeks and Summer.
