Paraprofessional Information

  

In order to be considered for contract paraprofessional positions, you must meet the Federal requirements for No Child Left Behind.  The requirement is a minimum of an associates degree or at least 60 semester credits (90 quarter credits) from an accredited college or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (Minnesota set the passing score at 460 or above).

ParaPro Assessment 

Northland Learning Center is offering the ParaPro Assessment Test two times a month from October through June and then weekly from July through September. The test is offered on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 3:00 pm. The cost is $70 (only take checks or money orders - no cash). They only have 5 computers set up for this test, so can only do five people at a time.

The timed computer test is 90 questions and 2.5 hours to take.
